This past fall, artists in grades 3-5 created wonderful imaginary creatures in art class and were given the chance to enter their work into the “Glasstastic” contest at the Brattleboro Museum and Art Center (BMAC). There were over 70 students who participated! None of the artwork from our school was chosen to be turned into a glass sculpture this year, but all drawings that were entered will be on display at the museum from June 24- October 9, 2023. HES artwork will be displayed digitally on a large screen in the gallery along with the glass sculptures and corresponding drawings in a special habitat created by artist Cynthia Parker-Houghton. BMAC offers an amazing opportunity for young artists to have their work on display in a museum! Join us in celebrating our students and their hard work and creativity by attending the show. Thanks to all the awesome student artists who let their imaginations run wild!
