While our students benefit from a close-knit community and strong foundational values, many are unaware of the full range of post-secondary pathways available in today\u2019s workforce.<\/p>\n<p>To help bridge this gap, we are planning an <strong>Alumni Career Fair October 3, 2025 from 9:00-12:00 at the HMHS Gymnasium. <\/strong>This career fair is aimed at connecting current students in grades 6\u201312 with our successful graduates. This event will showcase alumni who have gone on to achieve success in a variety of fields, including skilled trades, public service, entrepreneurship, military service, higher education, and high-demand industries like healthcare, tech, and engineering.<\/p>\n<p>By sharing their personal journeys, insights, and day-to-day work experiences, these alumni will serve as powerful, relatable role models. Our goal is to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Inspire students<\/strong> by showing real examples of success from people who once walked their same halls.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Expand career awareness<\/strong> by exposing students to a variety of fields\u2014some of which may be unfamiliar or underrepresented locally.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Promote future planning<\/strong> by encouraging students to think critically about their strengths, interests, and the many paths to meaningful employment and lifelong learning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We believe that bringing alumni voices into our school will strengthen community pride, foster mentorship, and equip students with a more informed, aspirational view of their future.<\/p>\n<p>If you are interested in being an \u201calumni vendor\u201d \u00a0at our career fair please email <a href=\"mailto:careerfair@hnhsd.org\"><strong>careerfair@hnhsd.org<\/strong><\/a><strong> or call Karen Thompson at 603-336-5984 Ext. 7804 <\/strong>\u00a0for more information and\/or questions.<\/p>\n<p>We hope to pack the gym with as many alumni as possible!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Your expertise is needed!
