What is a Paraeducator?<\/p>\n
A Paraeducator is an extra adult in the classroom, helping students that require more support and personalization. In some cases, you may work with a student one on one or other instances with a few students in the classroom. You will work collaboratively with Classroom Teachers and Special Educators and be a part of the student\u2019s educational team.<\/p>\n
Benefits include paid holidays, earned sick time, working as part of a team for the youth in the community and many, many more. You need to have a high school diploma and pass a background check.<\/p>\n
