HELLO THREE DOUBLE-U!!!
3W
SIX DAY SCHEDULE!!
DAY 1 DAY 2 DAY 3 DAY 4 DAY 5 DAY 6
Art & P.E. P.E. Library Science Science Music
In third grade, we will have Language every morning from approximately 8:50(!) – 10:10, then break for our daily morning special, and then back to Language from 10:50 – 11:30. THEREFORE! As you might guess, if you miss even 10 minutes in the morning, you may have missed instructions or other important information. It is our class mission to focus on learning from the time we enter the classroom until the time we leave for home (while breathing at the same time of course!) J.
Recess comes before lunch this year.
Math, Everyday Math, will be in the afternoon, 12:45-2:00.
Either Science or Social Studies will be from 2:10 – 3:00.
THE SCHEDULE IS ALL VERY NEW AND EXCITING. IT WILL KEEP US ALL ON OUR TOES!
BUSY! BUSY! BUSY! J J J

Homework Policies:
Homework for third grade is also very different from second grade!
HELPING YOUR CHILD TO BEGIN A NEW ROUTINE WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
Homework is given each Monday.
Homework may be returned any day during the week it is assigned.
(Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday)
Help your child by going over the instructions and giving an example if necessary, otherwise, if you or your child has a question please send a note to school with your child or contact me here online or by phone. We hope that your child will know on their own what to do with their homework but often they may have a question for you or simply want to show you their work. Building on what your child does know is the best way to keep them interested in furthering their knowledge and enjoyment of learning.
Our Classroom Rules:
Listen with care
Take care of one another
Take care of our classroom
Always try to do our best work
