Grade 3 Team

 Third Grade 2019-2020

Welcome to the Third Grade website! Please check back when you can, because we will try to keep this as updated as possible.

****Third Grade has set up a Team for each classroom on Office 365***

Students will go to Office 365 and sign in using their username as their email (username@hnhsd.org) and their password from school. Once they are in they need to click on Team icon. Then they should see a team for their class (3W, 3C, or Snow). In their team there will be videos and helpful links to help with their remote learning. Let us know if you cannot access the team.

Please check your email for a choice chart for offline activities. Online assignments are posted in the classroom Office 365 Team!

If there are any questions please contact us at our school email.

Some great websites to use:

xtramath.org     (It is free online, but please do NOT download the app as it cost money. Most students know their login and pin number)

https://www.mathlearningcenter.org/resources/apps This has free math apps that you can download or play online. We recommend using the fraction, money, or clock apps to help reinforce what the students are working on right now.

arthubforkids on YouTube is a great art resource. You can pick out different drawings that go with the stories that your child is reading.  You can also look up different children’s’ books on YouTube so students can listen to the story.

https://www.whizkidscience.com/  This is a great place for science experiments and videos.

pbskids.org  A great site with educational games and videos for kids!
kids.nationalgeographic.com Research animals, weird facts, and more. There are articles, videos, and quizzes.
mysteryscience.com MYSTERY DOUG (Mrs. Snow’s favorite!) Watching videos with mini-lessons answering questions posed by kids. There are also lessons for third graders that match NGSS standards.
sn3scholastic.com Scholastic News! Read current events or even science related articles. There are also games and videos to go with each issue.
youtube.com/user/storylineonline Real people with real read alouds. Maybe a celebrity you like is reading a story.
